Fronius has commissioned 162 inverters for a solar park in Ukraine with a peak capacity of 5 MW. Fronius has supplied around half of the projects implemented so far in the new programme of the Chilean government for public buildings. The company now also has a branch in Ukraine and Tatabánya (Hungary) and offers consulting and service programmes on site. In Iran, Fronius and its local service partner support private and commercial plant operators with easy-to-install inverters. The subsidiary "Fronius do Brasil" has branches in the states of Minas Gerais, Paraná, Amazonas, Sao Paulo and Rio Grande do Sul.

Wilo-SiClean Comfort is a particle separation system that can be integrated into the automatic cleaning of heating systems. As the fluid is brought into centrifugal motion, the particles move in a circulatory manner downwards and are collected in the sludge removal container. The settings of how long and how often the collected particles need to be removed are controlled automatically by the integrated SmartControl System.

Wilo recently developed the decentralised pump system Wilo Geniax. Miniature pumps mounted on the radiators replace traditional thermostatic valves. The mini-pumps supply each radiator with heat on demand only. The decentralisation of the pumps ensures that rooms are heated quickly and at the exact moment needed. On the average, this can save 20 – 50 % of heating costs and 50 – 70 % of electricity costs compared to conventional systems.

The new WILO-Yonos PICO high efficiency pump meets future energy efficiency requirements already today. According to the European Ecodesign Directive, gradually only highly efficient pumps will be allowed in the EU starting from 2013. The new WILO pump has a compact design and provides information about the current power consumption and pumping head on a LED display.
