South America is one of the key emerging markets for Global Hydro. In Chile, the company is already market leader for the construction of new small hydropower plants and has been named "Best supplier for hydro power equipment 2015" by the Chilean Hydropower Association (APEMEC).

GHE opens modern turbine production hall

Global Hydro Energy, a manufacturer of turbines for small hydro power plants, celebrated the opening of their new production hall and customer center. They invested 6.5 Mio. Euro. In addition to the enlargement of the production site, GHE also upgraded their machinery. The export share of GHE is 85 %.
