Peneder Businessbau was commissioned for an 800 m² extension of the production facilities of Kahlbacher Machinery. In addition, the existing building will be partially renovated and restructured. The total investment amounts to around 2 million Euro. Before the start of planning, a productivity check was carried out and revealed the need for a reorganisation of the existing building. Peneder’s previous financial year was very successful with a turnover of 83 million Euro.

Peneder realised the arched roof of the new parking garage at one of Austria's largest shopping mall, the Plus City. In addition to the production, planning, statics, construction and assembly, the services included the steel construction and drainage of the top storey as well as fire protection solutions in the building's extension. The arched roof on the 8-storey car park with 2,100 parking spaces is characterised by large spans of the roof shells (11 to 21 m) and the lighting shells used. The value of the contract amounted to 1.7 million Euro. 

Peneder and STIWA received the "Energiestar" in the category "Energy Innovations - from Upper Austria to the World" for their project for the energy-efficient production building for a Bavarian company. The factory features environment-friendly building and process cooling systems, renewable heating and highly automated production and intralogistics. The building permits 30 % energy savings compared to a standard solution.

Peneder has constructed a warehouse and assembly hall for ALBA tooling & engineering in Salzburg. The 1,200 m², 2-work shift hall with main and logistic offices was completed in 4.5 months. The company Emtrada from Landsberg also commissioned Peneder for the construction of a 740 m² logistics hall with 560 m² of office space. Peneder is working on a logistics concept with Emtrada that enables smooth material flows with automatic packaging systems, pallet storage and picking warehouse.
