Fronius: cooperates with electric car manufacturer Tesla OEC-News: November 2015

The electric car manufacturer Tesla is entering a new market sector. In collaboration with Fronius, the Tesla Home Battery will be available as of the fourth quarter of 2015. For this collaboration, Fronius and Tesla are developing communication compatibility between the Fronius Symo Hybrid inverter and the Tesla Powerwall home battery.

Global Hydro rewarded in Chile OEC-News: November 2015

South America is one of the key emerging markets for Global Hydro. In Chile, the company is already market leader for the construction of new small hydropower plants and has been named "Best supplier for hydro power equipment 2015" by the Chilean Hydropower Association (APEMEC).


Gasokol: approval for market in Dubai OEC-News: November 2015

Gasokol has obtained market authorisation in Dubai and is now extending its market to many Arabic regions including Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar. Following an elaborate examination procedure, Gasokol received a certificate with licence for the market in Dubai. Thereby, the audit procedure has been successfully completed.

FH Wels: new bachelor Electrical Engineering OEC-News: November 2015

The new international bachelor programme "Electrical Engineering" was launched in October at the FH Wels. This international-oriented programme is offered in English and focuses on modern and reliable electricity supply. In addition, to the topics of electricity distribution and energy transition, emphasis is put on smart grids, e-mobility and improving integration of renewable energy.

Neura wins british award with partner ICE Energy OEC-News: November 2015

In conjunction with its partner ICE Energy, NEURA received a prize in the category "Sustainable Housing Scheme of the Year" at the award ceremony of the "Housing Energy Awards" in the UK. The prize was awarded for the realisation of "Hastoe Housing" project where NEURA ground source heat pumps were installed to supply heat to semi-detached houses.

International Training Seminar Biomass Heating 2015 OEC-News: May 2015

An international training seminar on biomass heating, organised by the OÖ Energiesparverband / Oekoenergie-Cluster, will take place from 14 - 17 September 2015 in Linz, Austria. Based on the experience in Upper Austria, the 3-day seminar will provide know-how on local market development and technologies for automatic biomass heating. The programme is fully-focused on small- to mid-scale wood pellets and wood chip projects.

"Excellence in Bioenergy Award" for Christiane Egger OEC-News: May 2015

Christiane Egger, manager of the Oekoenergie-Cluster and deputy manager of the OÖ Energiesparverband, was granted the "Excellence in Bioenergy Award". This prize recognises leaders that are fundamental to the growth of the bioenergy industry in North-America. For the first time, the award went to a person outside the United States.

Christiane Egger was also a finalist for the European Cluster Manager Award.
